ACS task grid per student
Every area of operation and every task from the relevant Airman Certification Standards appears as a live grid, colored by the last grade you gave it. Open any square to see the date, the aircraft, the instructor and the note attached to that attempt.
Endorsement library with the current wording
Solo, solo cross country, 90 day renewals, knowledge test, practical test and flight review endorsements are held with their regulation references and the date each one was given. The library flags anything that has aged out before the student shows up for the flight.
Stage check readiness gauge
One figure per student, built from task coverage at ACS standard, how recently each task was flown, and the aeronautical experience still outstanding. Chief instructors use it to decide which three students go to a stage check this week.
Aeronautical experience counters
Cross country legs over fifty nautical miles, night takeoffs and landings, simulated instrument time, solo hours and total dual received all tally themselves as you log lessons. The counters map to the experience paragraphs for the private, instrument and commercial certificates.
Currency and limitation alerts
PreflightLog watches the 90 day solo window, the student pilot certificate, the medical, the make and model limitation and the wind conditions written into each solo endorsement. Alerts land in your inbox the Sunday before they matter, not the morning of.
Instructor handoff file
When a student flies with a different CFI, that instructor opens one screen: last three lesson grades, weak tasks, the exact endorsement history and the next recommended lesson. Substitute instructors stop starting from zero, and students stop paying for repeated ground.
